Disney Cruise Plans Return To California in 2011

Now this is big news for all of us that have grown to love the magic of the Disney Cruise experience. After testing the market in 2005 and again in 2008, Disney has expressed their desires to reposition the cruise ship Disney Wonder in the port of Los Angeles.

If approved, the Disney Wonder could begin service as soon as 2011.

The addition of a new homeport for Disney Cruise Line is part of the overall expansion plan for The Walt Disney Company. Two new ships, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, will arrive in Florida’s Port Canaveral in 2011 and 2012, respectively.

The exact destinations have yet to be announced
